Terms of Use

1. The service

Redline is a software tool provided by T2X for drafting, organizing, calculating, storing, and exporting information used in fire and life safety workflows. Redline is not an engineering firm, design professional, code authority, testing laboratory, plan-review agency, or authority having jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and, if you use Redline for an employer or other organization, authorized to accept them for that organization. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and kept current.

3. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, T2X grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Redline for your internal business or personal work. You may not:

• use Redline unlawfully or to violate the rights of others;
• attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or introduce malicious code;
• reverse engineer or copy protected portions of the service except where law expressly permits it; or
• use automated means to overload, scrape, or extract data from the service without written permission.

4. Your projects and responsibilities

You retain your rights in the project content you submit. You grant T2X the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content to operate and improve Redline.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all project data, calculations, drawings, device information, exports, and other outputs before relying on or distributing them. You must obtain review by appropriately qualified professionals and approval from applicable authorities whenever required. The additional risk disclosures in the Disclaimer are part of these Terms.

5. Service changes and availability

Redline may change, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that stored content will never be lost or corrupted. Keep independent copies of information that is important to your work.

6. Intellectual property

Redline, its software, visual design, branding, documentation, and other service materials are owned by T2X or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

7. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redline is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, code compliance, or suitability for life safety design. 8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, T2X and its owners, affiliates, personnel, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill; project delay; rework; rejected submissions; equipment failure; property damage; personal injury; or any loss arising from reliance on Redline output. Where liability cannot be excluded, the total aggregate liability arising from Redline will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless T2X and its owners, affiliates, personnel, suppliers, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your project content, your misuse of Redline, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to independently review and validate output.

10. Termination

You may stop using Redline at any time. T2X may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, third parties, or legal compliance, or if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these Terms as Redline evolves. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date; continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
